Election Update:

“You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don’t try.” – Beverly Sills, American Soprano

I am disappointed to have to share with you all today that we were not successful in the Commissioner’s race in Springfield’s 3rd Ward. I called my opponent and congratulated him and wished him luck.

I’m extremely proud of myself for running for Commissioner and I’m happy to say that I enjoyed the time spent speaking with friends and neighbors in the 3rd Ward about the issues affecting them and all of us, as well as my thoughts on how to make Springfield Stronger for everyone, not just for some.

If you voted for me, volunteered, or contributed to our campaign: Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. The signs of support our campaign received have been what kept me personally going each day an dare what have me excited for the future.

So what’s next?

Springfield Born, Springfield Made

Hi, I’m TJ, nice to see you!

I’m excited to announce that I’m running for Springfield Township Commissioner in the 3rd Ward. Springfield is a wonderful place to live, work, and play. I was born in Springfield Hospital and graduated from Springfield High School. I grew up in the 3rd Ward, and I’m happy to call it my home today.

I’ve seen first-hand how our community has grown and often struggled to realize the benefits of that growth for everyone over the last 35+ years. It’s time for an independent, transparent, and diverse voice on our Board of Commissioners, and that’s why I’m asking you and my neighbors for your support.

It’s time for a Commissioner who:

  • Stands up for our community
  • Really listens to complaints
  • Offers real solutions
  • Does not bow down to corporate interests

I support:

  • Government Transparency
  • Safe Streets for Pedestrians
  • Small Family Business
  • Keeping Seniors in Our Community
  • Safe, Community-Focused Development
  • Smarter Fiscal Management

I’m looking forward to giving back to the community that has given me so much, bringing people in our community together, and working for you!
